Early Weigh-In

So today's weigh-in results are....242.5....so I am down 1.5 pounds this week. Not too shabby since I ate out three times last week. So altogether that is 46 pounds. I feel like I have been in the 40 pound range forever. Eating out tonight probably will not help with that but I am hoping it will be the only time I eat out for the week.

Last night's workout was challenging. Lots of sweat. I have worked my way up to running at 4 minute intervals on the treadmill during warm-up. Not bad since my fear is losing my footing, falling, flying off the treadmill and damaging my face.

Am I the only one with this fear? What are your public workout fears?

I hate it when people are behind me at the gym. Staring at my butt/my back fat and sweat. Sizing me up. Judging my machine use.

Congrats on the WL! Well done.

Regarding fear in public workouts, one thing thats not generally that big of a deal, but always kind of embarrassing and a downer is that for the last couple years anytime I've gotten on a treadmill at the gym it generally shuts down at some point because I weigh too much. It just powers itself off completely and I have to switch machines. Thats no good.

Congrats on losing this week! I got stuck in the high 30 lb (like 36-40) weight loss range. I had 3 weeks in a row where I gained (1 was vacation, but still...)

Just keep plugging along, everything adds up. I tried the WW core plan for a week after my 3 gains in a row to change things up, lost everything I had gained, and have lost another 25-30 lbs since then (total 66.8 on WW).

Maybe try some new foods or a new exercise this week. I got over my fear of trying spin and now I can't get enough of it!

As for gym fears...I am a klutz so I always feel silly doing weights/resistance work like lunges, squats, push-ups, etc. I just started with a trainer though and so far that's helping! I did some of the moves on my own at the gym this Wednesday!
