Well....I Tried My Best

First I have to say I LOVE you guys!! This blogging community is AWESOME. You say the nicest, most uplifting things. So thank you for all your wonderful comments on my last post.

Tonight I did try my best. I went to body attack. The same class I did Saturday, except this time it was the full 60 minutes. I TRIED low-impact. It was hard at first because I realized that I never paid attention to it before. I never allowed it to be an option for myself so during the first few tracks (songs) I reverted to what I knew. There were 2 instructors tonight who were happy to point out that I had to bring it down (these are seriously like the NICEST instructors ever). By the end I really did well with keeping it low.

The results? I burned 500 calories but it was in 60 minutes instead of 40. I will take that. Since I do not have 4 hours to walk and that is probably how long it would take me to burn that amount of calories. Tomorrow I think I will let turbo kickboxing go (I am pretty sure I would not be able to control myself in there either). I will walk and get back to weight training.

Just so you know, trying to change like this is PURE TORTURE!!! I worked my way up to jumping around that room. I feel like this is a step in the wrong direction. I am in that class and these woman are working SO hard. Drenched in sweat. Some out-weigh me by 100 pounds (I know cause I have been there). They are giving it everything they've got (even if they are doing low-impact). I admire their red faces and super sweaty shirts. I felt lazy in their company. It felt kind of awful not doing what the instructor was doing. I guess I just need to adjust to it. It is still a great workout. I will continue to go back. Perhaps this week I will put a Zumba class back in my routine. I did like Zumba. Maybe it can help me strengthen my abs to carry a baby around.

Thanks again for your wonderful words. Hope you have a great week!

I am behind on blogs so I went back to read... wow, I think about how my mind would react to gaining weight all the time if I become pregnant. I wonder how much I would track and count. I know I would totally track! lol Im not the exercise fanatic as you are but I can see how you are struggling. First off you ARE a healthy woman, and will be a healthy mom. :) xoxo Take it down a notch, it is OK...be safe. :)

You are NOT lazy, you are nuturing a baby. You are working as hard you can at the moment, just as they are, it's just that your level is a bit lower for the moment, you will get it back after you safely deliver. It will all be worth it in the end.

You could also try swimming or water aerobics! Burns a lot of calories yet is low on impact!

take it slow, be safe :)

Where do you workout at? 24 hour fitness has this AMAZING class called Camp24- it alternates rapidly between strength training and cardio and wraps it up with butt (or stomach!) kicking crunches. I LOVE it but I hate it too.

This is only for nine months...the joy that child will bring you will last a lifetime.
I know, I have two.
One day the pregnancy will be nothing but a blip.
But my big recommend...
savor every moment.
Rub your belly...talk and sing to the baby. There is a little person in there.
Wonder who it is?

I don't know anything about this, hehe. And I guess I'll never really know. But it sounds like bringing the intensity down is the best/necessary thing to do. So good on you for doing that!

You'll get back to where you are now. You're still doing stuff, still eating healthy, and that's the main thing, right?

But yeah, just wanted to say you're doing awesome, and keep it up.

Girl, don't make me punch you! You are by FAR the least lazy person I know! Did that make sense? You know what I mean! You need to take it easy! I know that's easier said than done. Now I'm gonna have to start coming to Attack to keep an eye on you! GOD, I need to go anyway!

Wow you are kicking butt. Good job!

The body attack class sounds awesome, and classes are always so much better when the instructors are nice. yaya.

Hey there...
When I was pregnant I was working out as well till I started spotting. The Dr told me no more workouts for a bit. Please take it easy, maybe just walking on the treadmill .. You really need to take it easy and remember your growing a little bambino inside you...

Good on ya for trying to change.

Like another commenter stated, it's only for 9 months....... then after that all you have to do is try to find time to exercise.... beyond the extra laundry, grocery shopping, midnight feedings....etc...etc.

A scroll table tabletable row runs horizontally in a line across a table tabletable and is normally made up of several boxes with information rows table. When you draw a table tabletable on a piece of paper, you are creating columns and rows rowsrows. Each horizontal line of boxes is a different table tabletable row. Often, the row at the top of the web grid is used to create headers, which tell the reader what information can be found in the boxes below it, also known as the column. For example, the first three boxes in the first row of a table tabletable in a teacher’s attendance book might read "Student's Name," "Present," and "Absent."

Table rows are commonly used in HTML to create tables and to format a web page. The HTML tag for a grid data is . Within each row, the tag must be added for each new box the user wants to create in that row. A new table row must be created to move down to the next line sorting table and start a set of boxes below the first. This example shows a table with three table rows and three table columns.
