My 100th Post

Wow! 100 times of me rambling. You poor folks. Do I have something important to say for my 100th post?

Nope. I just want to say that I want to eat cereal. Not a bowl, a box. Of Honey Bunches of Oats (which is in my cabinet). I am fairly sure it holds no nutritional value. But damn is it good. I would like to eat it in a super gigantic bowl swimming in a gallon of skim milk (yes, I love skim milk!!).

Damn 1200 calorie eating specific shit diet. All protein and vegetables pretty much. For 7 days (minus the cheat meal last Thursday). I guess 7 days is the point where I tire of meat and lettuce.

Cereal.....cereal.....cceerrrrreeeaaalllllll.

Yes I am annoying, but if I type it out, I will feel better. I know you all have been here at some point and understand.

I have no intention of eating it. I follow directions very well (at least when I want to). I really want to see the scale move DOWN this week.

I also really want cereal. It will pass. I may have to go to bed early to make it pass. The crap we do for weight loss.

Cheerio old chaps (mmmm.....honey nut cheerios.....)

LOL I hear you.

You want to know something even funnier? I was just thinking today about how I used to eat cereal that way too - a whole box in a giant bowl, spoonful after spoonful. Today that would make me sick as hell. But before? Oh man that was some good stuff. When I was really bad it was Cocoa Pebbles - the crunch of the cereal and the chocolate milk going down afterwards was heaven - pure sugary heaven.

Congrats on your 100th post - I've enjoyed reading your blog!

Yeah, I love cereal too - but you are stronger than that box of sugary carbs! Keep your goal in mind - you are doing so well!!!

So fabulously random! At least you can pretend Honey Bunches of Oats has some nutritional value. Honey is good. Oat are good. I want Lucky Charms. I can't even pretend marshmellowy leprechauns are good. I will be so glad when this box is over and may the economy size never ever go on sale for $2.99 again. Amen.

My daughter today was joking that chocolate chip pie could be nutritious. Eggs - dairy. Flour - grain. Chocolate chips - beans.

Then we dissolved into laughter!

Congratulations on your 100th post!

I have 28 grams of Fiber One and 28 grams of bran flakes every morning. I don't want to give up my cereal.

But for fun eating, I used to eat Capt'n Crunch until it chewed up hte roof of my mouth, Honeycomb and Cheerios. The amount of cheerios I would eat is laughable now.

I haven't even craved that stuff, luckily.

Haha, good on you for not giving in. If I were to give in to temptation right now, it'd be my mum's old lasagne, cold, in a baguette slathered in butter and mustard :D

Congrats on the 100th post! Quite a milestone!

It takes a lot to grab that 100-post brass ring. WTG.

And way to fend off the urge for the Cheerios. I like the good feeling of being in charge of my body (instead of the other way round).

Congrats on post #100!

Cereal doesn't do it for me. I have, however, been thinking about Five Guys burgers and fries for the past few nights. Thus far I've resisted, but soooo tempting.

Way to control the craving instead of letting the craving control you.
