Comparison Pics - Part 3

Okay I will stop annoying you with picture posts (at least for a while). Anywho, this is the dress from my best bud's wedding. The first pic is from Dec 31, 2005. The other two are from tonight. I just thought it was a fun difference and I would share since I already blogged about it.

What I remember from the night of the wedding is that I was wearing a VERY tight corset-type bra to try and hold things in and the boning was digging into my side and I could not wait to get it off and breath again. Don't worry! I still drank and ate and danced - alot. We have the pictures to prove it. It is a shame that I remember that feeling. I am sure if that wedding were today that is not the first memory I would have.

Comparison Pics - Part 2

1st off, I must bitch. Have you ever had a day (or maybe 7 each month) where you want to rip your uterus out with your bare hands just for some relief? That is my day. And at fat camp, that is not much fun. I had to get up early and load up on some major drugs in order to make it through the morning activities. But I pushed through. I just needed to complain some. My best bud does not get lady troubles like I do so she cannot relate.

So, here are more comparison pics. The top is in my pool last summer with god daughter Grayden. The 2nd is at a waterpark this year with god daughter Camden. My hair is actually a lot longer this year which is good. That way I can put it in a ponytail (which has been awesome working out). It is so hard to workout when your hair is too short to put back all the way - and it is hot.

This summer I brought home all the books I have in my student's classroom library so I could organize them. I went to the store and got containers and actually did that today. This is amazing because every summer I say I will do something like that, but I never do. I still have some more labeling to do (and leveling readers) but the majority is done. In one afternoon. And let me tell you, I have TONS of books for them. I keep amazing myself in strange ways.

I think I shall declare this is a whole new me. And just in time. The old me was really starting to work my nerves. Hope you all are having a great day! From the looks of your blogs we have a lot of weight being lost. Yeah!!

Have you ever stopped to think where the weight you lost actually went? It just evaporated in your muscle burn I guess but I just find it strange to think there used to be 70+ pounds more of me. Where is it now? Please don't look! I do not want to find it EVER again. Just a random thought I have been having at bedtime lately. Peace out!

Comparison Pics - Part 1

Here are some pictures. Pool pictures at that. Sorry you must endure. These pictures are in my backyard (this is how I spend my summer days). In the picture is my best bud (she did approve of the photo use) whom I hang out with daily (bless that girl) and her beautiful twin daughters (my god daughters - lucky me!). These pictures are identical (well almost). The top picture is from summer 2008 - my best bud is on the left holding Camden and I am on the right holding Grayden. The 2nd picture is the same setup only it was taken last week. Didn't the girls get so big? Man they grow up fast. I am working on other comparison pics. Mostly because we have lots of bad pics from last year that are fun to share. Hope you are staying cool this summer!

I know it is kind of like when someone says "this smells awful, smell it." You really don't want to but the other person is insistent. Why? Because the offensive odor is so unbelievable it must be shared.

And so? I must share. What you are witnessing is graphic and is intended for mature audiences only.....just kidding! My best friend and I had some tremendous laughs looking for some of the worst before pictures we could find. There were a lot to choose from, including many swimsuit photos (she is camera crazy because of her twin daughters and there is no stopping her so it is easier to just ignore her and her camera).

The before pics we were looking for were not for this blog. My friends and family are not aware of this blog yet. I am not sure when/if I will tell them. There are all super supportive but I feel like this something I have to do for me. Create my own support system that does not always involve them.


But I thought that these pics were too funny not to share. I am not sensitive about my weight so let the comments fly! Especially since I no longer look like that. Tomorrow is a trainer day and I will try to get a nice sweaty workout pic. Since everyone else is doing it I will show me at my loveliest.
