Perhaps November will be my next adventure. I am thinking of doing the mud run with best bud (of course). It is so military and it is 10K. If it were 1 mile I would not think twice, but 10K? Really? Have I lost my marbles? If you click on the link (the words "mud run") it will take you to a video from the spring run. Check it out and tell me what you would do. I am sure I can walk instead of run but it is the obstacles that make me nervous. Could I haul my fat ass over a wall? Not to mention doing it while covered in mud. I do not see any fatties in the video attempting this.
Just so you know, this was my crazy-ass idea. Best bud said she would try anything with me once (at least we could get some funny pictures, right?). Did I ever tell you she is the best? Hence the name best bud.
So for real, check it out and tell me what you think.

Looks awesome... 10K obstacle through mud seems intimidating but I think you can do it.
What better way to celebrate 100 pounds gone?
Wow that seems intense. I think after all the working out you did this summer, you're fit enough that you're up to the challenge. I won't lie, though, I'd worry about the walls too. I do think you'll be able to do it, though, and if you're struggling over parts I'd bet others would help you out or that, worst comes to absolute worst, it's not like you can't walk around the walls if it ends up being absolutely impossible for you to get over it.
I think it would be a lot of fun for you and your best bud to do. My vote's on go for it!
Just do it for fun!! If you have a partner in crime it can be about fun and finishing not winning.
I would do it if someone was in on it with me. And you lost 100 lbs you are no longer a fattie at all!
I totally think you should do it. It looks like lot of hard work and fun. I think it would be a wonderful experience to share with your best bud.
It looks like fun! I wish I could do it with you. You can do it just continue working out and eating healthy. Good luck!
Make like Nike and JUST DO IT!
wow that looks awesome. seriously, you're fit enough for sure and not only will the race be worth it but the 'training' to up your game will also be a nice challenge, too.
You definitely can do that! It looks challenging, but you are ready!
I watched the video and wow! If you even think you can you should try!
Looks dirty but fun...go for it:)
Wow...just stumbled on your blog and wanted to say congrats on all the success you've had so far.
